Overview
The Tinnitus Clinic is a CQC registered service providing adult audiology rehabilitation for hearing loss, tinnitus and hyperacusis. We provide ear protection for musicians and others who experience regular exposure to loud noise levels.
Audiology is a clinical science which uses specialist medical devices and hearing aids to help people hear better, and to reduce symptoms associated with tinnitus and hyperacusis (sensitivity to sounds). Providing our clients with an improved quality of hearing whether by treating hearing loss, tinnitus or hyperacusis is central to our ethos.
The clinician works with clients to assess their requirements through a series of diagnostic tests and questionnaires which measure the impact tinnitus and hearing loss is having. This is the first step to a recommendation from the clinician about the treatment package which will bring the benefits which the client is looking for.
The Tinnitus Clinic has a number of tinnitus treatments which are not available elsewhere in the UK including Levo Therapy for Tinnitus which is used during sleep, and Acoustic CR Neuromodulation for tonal tinnitus.
We also provide GP and ENT education for many NHS trusts and private clinics across the UK.
